pH skin neutral does not make foot care products better. Gerlach initiates the first foot care study on a controversial counselling issue. It shows: The pH value of a product has no influence on the pH value of the skin. On the other hand, the pH value is an important factor for the quality of the formulation. The study also shows that suitable formulations can improve the skin's condition.
